Message from our
pastor
That
which binds us is infinitely stronger than those small things which
separate us. The thread of life is universal and the oneness of all is
a mystic truth celebrated throughout known history. It is the root of
the Golden Rule, because what we do to others, we do to ourselves
also. People have often thought that this was too simple and
embellished the spiritual truth with human, dogmatic rules and systems
of worship and belief. While ritual is useful for us to help us focus
on the spiritual truth it need never surpass the underlying truth of
the Divinity and oneness of all life. If ritual and ceremony serves to
exclude anyone then it is the ritual that needs to be changed.
